Terms of service

The agreement

These terms are between you and IntentiveAI, the operator of Parents Wizard. By creating an account you agree to them. If a court order tells you to use this service, the order governs how you use it; these terms govern your relationship with us.

What the service does

Parents Wizard keeps a time-stamped, unalterable record of communication between co-parents and lets you export certified copies of it. We keep the original record on our servers, we issue a record ID and digest for every export, and we operate a public page where anyone with a record ID can check whether a PDF matches what we generated.

What the service does not do

  • It does not give legal advice and is not a law firm. Talk to a lawyer about your case.
  • It does not monitor conversations, and nobody at IntentiveAI or any court is reading your messages in real time.
  • It is not an emergency channel. If a child is in danger, call 911. Keep a separate way to reach your co-parent in an emergency.
  • It does not decide what a court will admit. Whether an export is authenticated or accepted as a business record is for the court.
  • It does not record calls in this version.

Your account

One person per account. Do not share your password, and do not log in as your co-parent. You are responsible for what is posted from your account. You must be an adult and must have a lawful reason to communicate with the other parent on the case.

The record

Messages cannot be edited or deleted after they are sent, by you, by your co-parent, or on request. This is the product. Profanity that the tone guard blocks is never sent and never stored. Tone-guard verdicts are shown only to the writer and are not part of the record.

Professional access

A parent can grant a professional read-only access to a case. Either parent can revoke a grant they made. Where an administrator records a grant as court-ordered, parents cannot revoke it. Professionals may export records and their views are logged.

Payment

Subscriptions are per parent, monthly or annual, with a free trial that needs no card. One parent may pay for the other. Payments are processed by Stripe. Fee waivers for financial hardship and domestic-violence situations are granted at our discretion on request to support@parentswizard.com.

If you stop paying, your account becomes read-only. You keep your login, you can read everything, and you can export unlimited certified records. You cannot post until a subscription, trial, or waiver is active again.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harass, threaten, or stalk anyone, to violate a court order, or to upload content you have no right to share. We may suspend an account that does, and we may preserve and disclose records when a valid court order or subpoena requires it.

Availability and liability

We aim for the service to be available at all times, but we do not promise it. To the extent the law allows, IntentiveAI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
